JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined workflows and reducing the usage of email and paper. JiBe is looking for a top-notch Product Manager to join our team. You will have an opportunity to directly impact our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the progress of software releases from planning to execution and verification.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful releases.
- Develop and implement release strategies and schedules.
- Identify and manage risks that may affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
- Lead and coordinate the Go-Live activities, including the execution of deployment plans and checklists.
- Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews.
- Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
- Work with release engineers to understand the impacts of branches and code merges.
- Continually work towards making improvements in the release process.
- Availability to be on call during release windows, go live activities and critical production issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in release management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with various teams.
- Familiarity with release management tools and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster).
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
