Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage endtoend release management for applications across development, test, and production environments.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline build, release, and deployment processes.
Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable releases using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams (development, QA, infrastructure, product) to plan and execute releases.
Manage release calendars, versioning strategies, branching strategies, and deployment schedules.
Ensure compliance with release governance, change management, and audit requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and release issues across environments.
Monitor postrelease performance and support rollback strategies when required.
Maintain release documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Drive continuous improvement in DevOps and release engineering practices, including process automation and optimization.
