Job Description

Job Summary:**

The Relationship Officer - LAP (LB Nagar) is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, focusing on Loan Against Property (LAP) products. This role involves generating leads, assessing customer needs, and facilitating the loan application and approval process to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction within the LB Nagar region.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Identify and acquire new customers for Loan Against Property (LAP) products within the designated geographical area (LB Nagar).
  • Proactively engage with potential customers through various channels including field visits, cold calling, and networking to generate leads.
  • Conduct thorough financial assessments of customers to understand their borrowing needs and recommend suitable LAP solutions.
  • Explain product features, benefits, and terms and conditions clearly and comprehensively to customers.
  • Assist customers with the completion of loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified.
  • Liaise with internal credit and operations teams to expedite loan processing and approval.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify cross-selling opportunities and ensure customer retention.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes related to LAP products.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the LAP portfolio.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in sales, relationship management, or business development, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on lending products.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Loan Against Property (LAP) products and the lending process.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong sales acumen and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in local language(s) (e.g., Telugu) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation may be required for field visits.
