Job Description for Relationship Officer -
The primary objective is to collaborate proactively with Bancassurance channel partner with multi insurance tie up and stakeholders to ensure CHL achieves its business goals in alignment with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets, focusing on both new customer acquisition and retention as outlined in individual objective-setting sheets. Facilitate higher productivity levels by supporting channel partners in optimizing processes from submission to issuance within agreed timelines. Role holder will be responsible for meeting desired targets in retail business of the distributor partner.
Safeguard the interests of customers and CHL by ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines, as well as the effective use of processes and systems. Cultivate and manage partner expectations to enhance relationship quality, fostering a mutually beneficial model.

V.Role Context
The role is to deliver sales growth in key markets managed by the job holder. It involves managing all aspects of Sales & Distribution; delivering sales numbers as per AOP; exceeding customer expectations (both for the distributor & end customer) and service standards; implementing business strategies to maximize profitability of CHL
VI.Management & Leadership of Regulatory, Compliance & Operational Risk
Report any operational risk or operational risk loss to the line manager immediately (who is required to timely report to Operational Risk Coordinator) if the jobholder becomes aware of emerging or inadequately controlled operational risk or identify an operational risk loss in accordance with section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM.
VII.Observation of Internal Controls
Maintain and observe company's internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators.
