Role Summary:
The role holder is responsible for managing and deepening relationships with existing clients and acquiring new ones. Acting as a single point of contact, the Relationship Manager will enhance customer engagement and drive business growth by offering tailored banking and investment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
- Manage and grow the banking and investment portfolio from branch/retail customers.
- Develop and expand customer relationships with service levels exceeding expectations.
- Identify and nurture potential revenue opportunities within existing and new relationships.
Generating Incremental Business
- Achieve sales targets across liabilities, retail assets, business banking, forex, cards, and investment products.
- Proactively sell the full range of financial products to new and existing clients.
- Increase CASA balances through deepening or acquisition.
- Drive product and channel penetration to enhance customer relationship value.
Customer Engagement
- Ensure consistent engagement with mapped clients to maintain portfolio quality and desired relationship values.
Investments
- Assess financial needs and offer suitable products with transparency.
- Generate fee-based revenue through mutual funds, insurance, and investment products.
Audit & Compliance
- Adhere to internal policies and regulatory guidelines (RBI/SEBI/AMFI/IRDA etc.) during client acquisition and servicing.
Self-Management
- Set and monitor annual performance goals in alignment with management expectations.
- Identify skill gaps and actively work on learning and professional development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and practices relevant to the role.
Risk & Compliance
- Follow all internal risk control policies and processes to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Support audit processes by maintaining necessary documentation and internal control systems.
