Job Description

To strategically manage and cultivate key central relationships within the affinity group business segment, driving the growth of group health insurance. This role is crucial for generating significant group business, particularly through Banks Head Offices (HOs), Third-Party Insurance departments, and key SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) branches, with a strong focus on Group Medical Cover (GMC) Bancassurance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Central Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate, maintain, and deepen high-level, strategic relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at Banks Head Offices (HOs).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for central relationships, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Understand the strategic objectives of affinity partners and align Care Health Insurance's offerings accordingly.

Group Business Development:

  • Drive the generation of group health insurance business, with a specific emphasis on Group Medical Cover (GMC) Bancassurance, through assigned affinity channels.
  • Identify and onboard new Third-Party Insurance departments and key SME branches to expand the affinity channel network.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to achieve aggressive sales targets for group health insurance products.

Partner Engagement & Support:

  • Coordinate effectively with partner teams, including bank staff and third-party insurance executives, to facilitate sales and operational processes.
  • Provide expert guidance and product knowledge to partners, ensuring they are well-equipped to sell Care Health Insurance's group products.
  • Address partner queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure smooth business operations.

Market Analysis & Customization:

  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs within the affinity group business.
  • Work collaboratively with internal product teams to develop and offer customized group health insurance solutions that meet the unique requirements of affinity partners and their client base.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure all business activities and sales processes conducted through affinity channels adhere strictly to Care Health Insurance's internal policies and IRDAI regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities and provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging at a strategic level.
  • Strong business development and negotiation abilities.
  • Deep understanding of group health insurance products, especially GMC, and Bancassurance models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and resolving challenges.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
