Role Overview: The Relationship Manager plays an important role in driving efficient recruitment processes by overseeing a team of recruiters and ensuring the effective management of client relationships. The role includes monitoring performance metrics such as submission and hit ratios, ensuring quick candidate responses, and driving the growth of recurring weekly margins. Additionally, the Relationship Manager will be responsible for coordinating value meetings with MSPs, improving delivery outcomes, and ensuring recruiters maintain high levels of engagement with candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Monitor and manage recruiter performance, ensuring each recruiter meets minimum expectations of daily calls & submissions to drive the placement pipeline. Maximise requirement coverage with a focus on submission, quality and turnaround time. Develop daily plans for recruiters based on client-specific requirements, to ensure a high Interview ratio on MSP and Hiring Manager deliveries, ensuring recruitment efforts align with client expectations.
- Client & Candidate Engagement: Conduct weekly value meetings with MSPs, focusing on optimizing client relations and staffing performance. Ensure timely responses to AI-generated candidate inquiries (within one hour) and attend all AI-scheduled calls, ensuring a seamless experience and maintaining high efficiency and candidate engagement.
- Performance Monitoring and Growth: Monitor and drive growth in recurring weekly margins, focusing on improving the quality of placements and increasing profitability. Achieve and maintain hit ratio on MSP positions and in Hiring Manager requirements and focus on exclusive requirements through effective sourcing and recruitment strategies for high-priority client needs. Track recruiter metrics regularly and provide actionable feedback and training to the recruiters to ensure the team meets or exceeds their performance goals.
- Process and Quality Assurance: Verify and approve job postings to ensure they align with client needs. Ensure timely submission ofqualified candidates for each open position and ensure all active candidates are progressing smoothly through the recruitment process. Track recruiter activity to ensure they are following up and maintaining consistent communication with candidates. Review and validate candidate submissions to ensure that all requirements are met before submission to clients.
- Brand Advocacy & Social Engagement: Actively engage on LinkedIn and other professional networks by sharing company updates, achievements, and insights. Share industry trends, hiring insights, and success stories to position eTeam as a leader in workforce, business, and digital transformation. Support recruitment and business efforts by commenting on, liking, and sharing eTeam posts. Encourage referrals and networking by promoting eTeam's brand and open roles online.
Qualification & Competency Required:
- Leadership & People Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team to achieve collective goals. Proven experience in building high-performance teams through coaching, feedback, and career development programs. Proficient in managing conflicts and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining focus on business objectives.
- Operational Excellence & Service Delivery: Expertise in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to deployment with ability to streamline recruitment processes. Strong knowledge of industry regulations and labor laws and expertise in assessing candidates effectively, ensuring alignment with client needs to meet or exceed client expectations in terms of quality, timeliness, and compliance.
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients (MSPs, Hiring Managers) through clear and consistent communication with client-Focused Approach. Able to develop tailored recruitment strategies that ensure high satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
Capable of negotiating rates, terms, and agreements with clients and candidates to ensure favourable outcomes for all parties involved.
- Result Oriented Approach with Adaptability & Resilience: Focused on achieving and exceeding individual and team targets and proactively seeking ways to improve recruitment strategies, processes, and team performance to drive better results. Ability to adapt to changing client needs, market conditions, and recruitment strategies with ability to overcome setbacks and challenges with persistence and maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen: Understand industry trends, competitor activities, and the recruitment landscape to adapt strategies and provide innovative solutions. Identify opportunities to increase margins, cross-sell services, and grow existing accounts. Analyze data and recruitment metrics to make informed decisions and continuously improve processes. Quickly identifying challenges in the recruitment process and devising solutions to overcome obstacles effectively and efficiently. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a result-driven environment.
- Strong negotiation, and problem-solving skills: Ability to effectively present & communicate clearly with clients, candidates, and internal teams. Deliver updates on performance, strategy, results and understand the concerns of clients and candidates, ensuring effective problem-solving and relationship-building.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology (including AI tools) to enhance outreach, productivity, communication and client engagement.
- Ability to Learn and be Coachable: Expected to be adaptable, open to feedback, and continuously improve their skills and knowledge. You should be proactive in learning about new tools, industry trends, and best practices in staffing.
- Strong Selling Skills: Must possess strong sales abilities, including the ability to present job opportunities persuasively to candidates and pitch staffing services effectively to clients.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate job requirements, candidate qualifications, and service offerings with clarity, professionalism, and precision. This includes articulating information clearly and concisely, both in written and verbal formats, to internal teams, clients, and candidates.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/Pharma is preferred, however combination of education and experience will also be considered.
