About the Role
We are hiring a
Relationship Manager Branch Banking (Current Accounts) for our Rural Banking branches. This role is focused on building and deepening customer relationships, driving current account acquisition, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery. The Relationship Manager will play a key role in expanding the current account portfolio, supporting business loan disbursals, and enhancing customer engagement across the catchment area.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and generate new revenue sources through cross-sell opportunities based on lifestyle, risk profile, and requirements.
- Facilitate swift disbursal of business loans by evaluating customer needs.
- Drive account activation and maintain account health.
- Focus on overall growth of the Current Account (CA) portfolio in rural markets.
- Deliver superior customer service to increase wallet share and business volume.
- Resolve customer queries and issues promptly.
- Achieve individual and branch-level sales goals through new business acquisition, referrals, and relationship retention.
- Monitor collections efficiency and ensure disciplined follow-ups.
- Conduct field audits and customer verifications to maintain account quality.
- Gather market intelligence and benchmark against competitor practices.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Evaluate growth strategies based on competitor analysis and feedback from channels/customers.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality.
- Manage and develop a team of field officers, ensuring low attrition and high performance.
- Implement livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation: Any Discipline/BCom.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in BFSI
