About the Role

We are hiring a Relationship Manager Branch Banking (Current Accounts) for our Rural Banking branches. This role is focused on building and deepening customer relationships, driving current account acquisition, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery. The Relationship Manager will play a key role in expanding the current account portfolio, supporting business loan disbursals, and enhancing customer engagement across the catchment area.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assess client needs and generate new revenue sources through cross-sell opportunities based on lifestyle, risk profile, and requirements.
  • Facilitate swift disbursal of business loans by evaluating customer needs.
  • Drive account activation and maintain account health.
  • Focus on overall growth of the Current Account (CA) portfolio in rural markets.
  • Deliver superior customer service to increase wallet share and business volume.
  • Resolve customer queries and issues promptly.
  • Achieve individual and branch-level sales goals through new business acquisition, referrals, and relationship retention.
  • Monitor collections efficiency and ensure disciplined follow-ups.
  • Conduct field audits and customer verifications to maintain account quality.
  • Gather market intelligence and benchmark against competitor practices.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Evaluate growth strategies based on competitor analysis and feedback from channels/customers.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality.
  • Manage and develop a team of field officers, ensuring low attrition and high performance.
  • Implement livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Any Discipline/BCom.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in BFSI
