With increasing regulatory requirements, the need for greater transparency in operations, and disclosure norms, stakeholders require assurance beyond the traditional critique of numbers. Hence assurance is being increasingly required on industry issues, business risks and key business processes. The Governance, Risk & Compliance Services practice assists companies and public sector bodies to mitigate risk, improve performance and create value.

We assist our clients to effectively manage business and process risks by providing a full spectrum of corporate governance, risk management, and Compliance Services. These services are tailored to meet client's individual needs, and provide effective support to management in meeting the challenges and opportunities presented by today's complex business environment.

Responsibilities ::

The role represents a critical position within the External EMEA reporting team. The incumbent will be responsible for executing complex regulatory calculations, ensuring reporting accuracy, and maintaining compliance standards across multiple EMEA jurisdictions. Working in a dynamic, multi-location environment spanning Mumbai, London, Frankfurt, and Paris, this position demands strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and excellent cross-cultural communication skills.

The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in strengthening regulatory reporting infrastructure while contributing to the firm's strategic objectives in regulatory compliance and risk management. This position offers significant exposure to sophisticated regulatory frameworks, and international banking operations, providing an excellent platform for professional growth in financial services.

Core responsibilities encompass the production and oversight of key capital adequacy metrics under Basel III framework, including:

Execution of standardized approach calculations for:

Counterparty credit risk assessment and monitoring

Market risk measurement and analysis

Settlement risk computation and tracking

Capital deductions determination and validation

Management of regulatory reporting requirements through:

COREP reporting deliverables for EMEA entities

Resolution of management-driven inquiries and requests

Comprehensive RWA movement analysis

Collaborative engagement with Risk Management for input validation

Key Skills: Mandatory

Domain

Financial services industry exposure / good working knowledge in Regulatory reporting function

Capital Market knowledge

Excellent communication skills & ability to communicate ideas concisely and clearly

Ability to work in stringent deadlines

Ability to deliver accurate reports within agreed timelines

  • Proficiency in bringing issues to closure by keeping all the relevant stakeholders informed
  • Previous experience in Regulatory reporting within Investment Banking is preferred.
  • Understanding of financial products .
  • Self-starter, problem solver and ability to work with minimal supervision

Technical

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to learn Finance specific systems

Inquisitive mind set with ability to challenge the norm .

Working knowledge with Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Excel VBA macros and SQL and ability to self learn similar new age IT tools
