We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Control Manager .

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the operational delivery of the technology-related regulatory engagement service, ensuring that regulatory requests are processed efficiently and consistently across markets. You'll oversee the teams responsible for triage and response development, coordinate workflow distribution, and ensure that all engagements follow the defined standards, Quality Assurance processes, and governance steps.

  • You will serve as the key operational contact for market Single Points of Contact (SPOCs), control and business teams, helping to resolve issues, unblock challenges, and maintain strong end-to-end visibility of all in-flight regulatory engagements. Working closely with the Regulatory Management Service Lead, you'll help shape team capability, improve processes, and drive a culture of high-quality delivery.

  • This role is ideal for someone who combines strong leadership with operational discipline and the ability to bring structure to a complex, high-volume regulatory environment.

  • Lead and manage the Regulatory and Client Engagement team, providing coaching and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee end-to-end operational workflows for all technology-related regulatory and client engagements.
  • Maintain structured inventories and accurate records of regulatory and client requests, ensuring data is current and accessible.
  • Develop and uphold standard operating procedures, playbooks, and RACI matrices for technology engagements.
  • Coordinate with market Single Points of Contracts to ensure requests are logged, prioritised, routed correctly, and processed consistently across regions.
  • Monitor resource allocation and capacity planning, optimising workload distribution and workflow tooling.
  • Ensure all responses meet internal quality standards, progressing through required QA tollgates.
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across regulatory engagement teams, control owners, and other key stakeholders to shape coherent, high-quality responses.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive experience in regulatory management or compliance within a global financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, and data risk controls, including relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL).
  • Proven track record managing regulatory interactions, including drafting, reviewing, and overseeing submissions.
  • Experience leading globally distributed operational teams, managing KPIs, SLAs, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret statutory texts, regulatory guidelines, and supervisory expectations.
  • Expertise in establishing governance frameworks, processes, and operational workflows, including automation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and maintaining standard operating procedures, playbooks, and tooling to optimise workflow efficiency.

Desirable Skills / Certifications

  • 10+ years experience in governance, audit, risk, compliance related operational management.
  • Experience in regulatory engagement or regulatory operations
  • Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or similar industry-recognized risk certifications
  • Experience with workflow tooling or regulatory tracking systems
