Key Responsibilities
Academic Governance & Compliance
- Serve as the secretary to statutory bodies (Board of Governors, Academic Council, Finance Committee).
- Ensure compliance with UGC, AICTE, NAAC, NBA, and international accreditation bodies.
- Oversee drafting, implementation, and continuous refinement of academic statutes, ordinances, and policies.
Academic Administration
- Lead end-to-end academic lifecycle: admissions records, registration, examinations, grading, and degree conferral.
- Ensure data integrity, transparency, and audit readiness across all academic records.
- Supervise examination systems with zero-defect standards and global best practices.
Digital Transformation
- Drive modernization of ERP, student information systems, and academic workflows.
- Establish data governance frameworks enabling analytics for rankings, accreditation, and decision-making.
Institutional Strategy & Rankings Support
- Collaborate with leadership on rankings, accreditation, and global partnerships.
- Provide accurate and strategic data for QS, THE, AACSB, EQUIS, ABET, and similar frameworks.
Legal & Risk Oversight
- Act as institutional authority on academic legal matters and statutory interpretation.
- Ensure risk mitigation in all academic and administrative processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's, PhD or equivalent terminal degree from a globally recognized institution.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in higher education administration, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in academic governance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation frameworks.
- Experience in international or globally benchmarked institutions strongly preferred.
