Job Summary:

The Regional Manager Business Development will drive revenue growth by managing and developing both existing and new channel partners within the designated region. This role demands strategic planning, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve regional business objectives and strengthen the brand's position in the Online Education/EdTech sector.

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and sustain strong, long-term relationships with channel partners.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for channel partners, understanding their unique needs.
  • Position the company as a market leader in the Online Education/EdTech industry through effective partnership engagement.

Account Strategy:

  • Acquire new business opportunities (hunting) and expand existing partner accounts (farming).
  • Develop customized strategies that align partner goals with organizational objectives.
  • Identify potential areas for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.

Strategic Planning:

  • Design and implement sales strategies tailored to meet regional revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Ensure alignment between channel partners objectives and overall business goals.

Channel Partner Satisfaction:

  • Proactively monitor and improve partner satisfaction.
  • Address any concerns or issues promptly to ensure successful and productive partnerships.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and manage the regional channel partner team to ensure effective execution of business strategies.
  • Facilitate collaboration across internal teams to deliver customized solutions to partners.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, channel sales, or account management, preferably in the Online Education/EdTech space.
  • Strong track record in both acquiring new clients and growing existing partnerships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain partner relationships.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Deep understanding of the regional market trends and competitor landscape.
