Job Description

Key Responsibilities -

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy to drive loan sales and achieve business targets for three wheeler loans via dealer channel
  • Manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure their performance meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with dealers, distributors, and other strategic partners in the three wheeler industry.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, credit, and operations teams, to ensure seamless loan processing, timely disbursement, and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the two wheeler loan industry, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of the sales team, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to improve individual and team performance.
  • Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key institutional clients, such as banks, auto dealerships, and other referral sources, to drive loan business and enhance the company's market presence.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Master's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications or post-graduate qualifications in sales or finance will be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development roles within the financial services industry, preferably in an NBFC, with a focus on two/three/auto wheeler loans.
  • Strong knowledge of the vehicle loan market, including customer segments, loan products, pricing, and competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a sales team, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Sound understanding of credit risk assessment and underwriting processes in the context of two wheeler loans.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales and reporting tools.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically while executing tactical plans.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
