Job Description

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales growth in the assigned territory within the plastic industry, managing existing accounts, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting distribution partners. The role requires strategic planning, customer relationship management, and team collaboration to achieve divisional and personal sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement national sales programs through field sales action plans.
  • Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing by monitoring trends, supply, and demand.
  • Stay updated with professional and technical knowledge via workshops, publications, and networking.
  • Contribute to team goals and accomplish related tasks as needed.
  • Plan and ensure achievement of divisional and personal targets, aligned with company policies.
  • Meet customers to assess evolving needs and evaluate company relationship quality.
  • Provide daily reports on field sales performance to management.
  • Sell to direct accounts and support distribution partners in closing orders or adding value to the sales process.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute an effective territory plan.
