Post: Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Karnataka and Telangana for a leading Agarbathi company

CTC: Maximum gross up to 11 LPA
Experience:Minimum 8-12 years in FMCG/Agarbathi/incense sales with minimum 5 years in a RSM/ZSM role

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Karnataka region.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow market share in agarbathi and related product categories.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and channels to expand distribution.
2. Distributor & Retail Network Management
- Appoint, manage, and strengthen distributor and super-stockist networks across Karnataka.
- Ensure proper secondary sales planning, stock availability, and order execution.
- Conduct periodic distributor reviews to assess performance and compliance.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, guide, and monitor a team of Area Sales Managers (ASM), Sales Officers (SO), and field staff.
- Train and motivate the team to achieve sales objectives and ensure strong market productivity.
- Conduct joint field visits, market audits, and performance assessments.
4. Market Execution & Visibility
- Drive merchandising, visibility initiatives, and in-store branding as per company standards.
- Ensure proper implementation of trade schemes, promotions, and new product launches.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Monitor ROI on trade promotions and ensure optimal spending.
- Maintain discipline in compliance, documentation, and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Any graduate; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in FMCG sales with strong exposure to traditional trade.
- Prior experience in agarbathi/incense/home fragrance industry is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across Karnataka.
- Proficiency in Kannada and English is desirable.
