Job Description Regional Sales Manager
We are seeking a high-impact Regional Sales Manager to drive strategic revenue growth and expand our client's footprint across the assigned region. This role requires a commercially driven sales leader with strong experience in cloud, data engineering, AI, and analytics solution and services sales, combined with the ability to build pipelines, close complex deals, and guide regional go-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive regional revenue targets, ensuring consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales goals
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Manage end-to-end enterprise sales cycles for cloud, data engineering, and AI-driven analytics solutions and services.
- Build, maintain, and govern a robust regional sales pipeline with accurate forecasting discipline
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and account expansion
- Establish strong executive-level relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers
- Lead complex deal negotiations, commercial discussions, and contract closures
- Collaborate closely with presales, solutioning, and delivery teams to craft compelling proposals and respond to RFPs/RFIs
- Ensure seamless transition from sales to delivery with clear expectation management
- Drive partner-led opportunities with ecosystem players such as AWS, Databricks, Adobe, and other strategic alliances
- Provide regional market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to leadership
- Mentor, guide, and potentially scale regional sales talent as business expands
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Proven success in Cloud / Data / AI Solution Sales (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent)
- Strong track record of managing large, complex enterprise deals
- Experience owning regional numbers and forecasting responsibilities
- Domain exposure across BFSI, CPG, Pharma, or Manufacturing preferred
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to articulate ROI-driven value propositions
- Deep understanding of enterprise buying behavior, consultative selling, and RFP-driven sales cycles
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and negotiation skills
- Highly self-driven, energetic performer comfortable operating in growth-focused environments
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal and external stakeholders
