The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving regional sales growth by managing dealer channels and direct food manufacturing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding market presence. The role involves executing sales strategies, strengthening distributor networks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customized flavour solutions and achieve profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee sales and business development for both dealer channel and direct food manufacturing accounts to drive market expansion and revenue growth.
- Prepare Sales Budget with monthly revenue phasing.
- Monitor monthly sales week on week basis & take action where required to meet month budgeted numbers
- Maintain contact with all potential customers to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Monitor market coverage by Sales Team through CRM.
- Ensure Receivables are in control month on month basis
- Prepare a strategy for Distribution business clarifying focus states and categories.
- Review sales force deployment and align resources to develop business with justification.
- Assess distributor/dealer requirement by micro market and appoint new dealers if required
- Assess Flavour opportunity by Region/State/Category and present to management
- Assess tonality opportunity by market. Work with Portfolio lead to identify new tonality from collection or through creation that can expand business.
- Execute new flavour launches in conjunction with Marketing/Category Management. Decide on key markets/dealers to target for new launches.
- Formulate strategy for generating secondary demand for trade products. Leverage Category management for promotion and execution.
- Monitor competition activity and generate competitive intelligence.
- Work with HR / GM Sales on Development plan for Sales Team
- Identify potential customers and develop plans to tap business opportunities.
- Identify and understand customers techno-commercial flavour requirements, generate demand, and work closely with the technical team to provide customized solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Graduation: Preferably a BSc, B Tech or a B Pharm.
Desirable - PG/ PG Diploma in Management
10 15 years experience in Food Industry with business development or sales profile
