Job Title: Regional Head Sales & Marketing
Role Purpose
The Regional Head Sales & Marketing is responsible for formulating and implementing business strategies at national and global levels to achieve topline growth and bottom-line profitability. The role leads sales, marketing, and customer retention across all three business verticals: ITP, MHE, and AFD, with a strong focus on large turnkey projects in bulk material handling.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Business Planning
- Develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Formulate and implement go-to-market strategies to reach target segments effectively and quickly.
- Drive measurable strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets and enhance product and brand visibility at national and global levels.
- Analyze evolving market dynamics and translate insights into actionable strategies aligned with sales plans.
- Establish and implement marketing policies, processes, and best practices.
- Promote innovative technologies aggressively to gain competitive advantage.
- Explore and develop export markets proactively.
Strategic Branding & Stakeholder Management
- Position and strengthen the brand to build long-term equity.
- Lead development of branding initiatives, including design, content, and marketing campaigns.
- Implement innovative branding and marketing strategies to support revenue growth.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, consultants, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Order Realization & Revenue Management
- Achieve minimum annual order booking of 250 Crores with healthy margins.
- Conduct pricing and competitive analysis to improve market positioning while maintaining profitability.
- Review and validate techno-commercial proposals to ensure competitiveness and order realization.
- Provide technical and commercial guidance to sales teams during bid finalization.
- Ensure balanced focus on topline growth and bottom-line profitability.
- Monitor competitor strengths and weaknesses and align internal strategies accordingly.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with all Heads of Departments to resolve post-order issues.
- Ensure project timelines, execution milestones, and payment collections are met.
- Actively participate in techno-commercial negotiations and project closures.
Budget & Operational Excellence
- Plan, direct, and control sales and marketing budgets in line with approved sales plans.
- Drive operational excellence across sales and marketing functions.
People Development & Organizational Culture
- Lead, coach, and mentor sales and marketing teams to achieve targets and enhance competencies.
- Foster collaboration, shared ownership, and accountability within teams.
- Integrate sales, marketing, and operations to improve customer satisfaction and organizational outcomes.
- Contribute to building a high-performance, values-driven organizational culture.
