Job Description

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Budgeting, Forecasting, Sales Planning:
    • Make a budget for next FY by analyzing the SFDC data and taking inputs from cross functional teams.
    • Market analysis, gather feedback from sales team and make report on monthly basis for global team
    • Partnering with Sales Managers to execute the agenda for the platforms and product-line.
    • Partner with HR to calculate incentives for Sales, Marketing & Application team.
  • Market Research:
    • Analysis of major customers, about their production, sales.
    • What are their future strategy in terms of production and sales.
    • Government policies and how they are affecting the market
    • Competitor analysis about their product and strategy
    • Share of business with major customers, analysis of share gain/loss and finding the reasons of loss or gain.Define strategy with other teams to gain more and more share
    • Chasing market that how it is moving, what are the sentiment
  • SIP (Sales Incentive Plan):
    • Incentive target discussion and finalizing the target for financial Year
    • SIP Dashboard preparation for India and update it on monthly basis
    • Setup review mechanism of target on monthly basis with sales leader and quarterly with global leaders
  • Executing Localization plan:
    • Understand & execute localization across organization.
Keys to Success

  • This position is responsible for supporting business development and performance of all sales activities for the Industrial Power Transmission in India market. He shall promote the company's products & shall be a representative of the company in the assigned region.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The incumbent operates as an Individual contributor & reports to Director-IPT & MObility and support him in all day to day operations to achieve the business objectives of the company.

Requirements And Preferred Skills

  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in sales management & Market Research.
  • Proven skills in Sales Planning, Meeting Sales Goals, Territory Management & Managing Profitability
  • Leader in customer service professional approach to internal/ external clients
  • Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrates effective time management skills
  • Excellent business ethics and integrity
  • Strong team player, proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all functions, builds collaborative relationships.
  • Self-directed and motivated with insight and ideas to motivate sales teams
  • Strong Communication skills including Presentation & Negotiation skills
