The Leadership Collective is pleased to be partnering with a global healthcare organization to support the search for a Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial activities across India.

This role is ideal for a strategic sales leader who understands the complexity of the Indian healthcare sector and can build strong relationships across both public and private health systems. The successful candidate will play a key part in driving sustainable growth in the region.

About the role

As part of the regional sales management team, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading business development and account management efforts, shaping market strategy, and building long-term partnerships with major health systems and government stakeholders. This is a high-impact, client-facing role that involves regional travel and cross-functional collaboration with internal subject matter experts.

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading business development and sales strategies for international healthcare service lines
  • Building and managing executive-level relationships with health systems and Ministries of Health
  • Creating proposals and negotiating contracts based on customer needs
  • Presenting at industry events and meetings to represent offerings and drive interest
  • Managing a sales pipeline through CRM systems, tracking client engagement and forecasting results
  • Collaborating with internal product and marketing teams to align sales and regional growth strategy
  • Monitoring competitive activity and changes in health policy that may impact strategy

About you

  • Based in either India or Singapore
  • Fluent in English (additional regional languages are an advantage)
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare sales or account management
  • Proven experience working within the Indian healthcare provider market
  • Background in healthcare accreditation, patient safety, or service quality is preferred
  • Excellent presentation, relationship-building, and strategic selling skills
  • Comfortable with regional travel up to 75 percent, including occasional travel to the United States
