Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager with strong experience in automobile sales, specifically in Electric Commercial Vehicles (3W, 4W & Cargo solutions). The candidate must have handled a regional territory and led a sales team.
The role is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and successfully introducing and ramping up SCV products in line with business targets.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Planning & Execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand prospective application requirements and focus segments as per SCV GTM strategy
- Execute strategy related to EV charging infrastructure
- Identify suitable product offerings based on customer needs
- Present product features and benefits effectively
- Finalize terms of sale within authorization limits
- Support customers in securing product financing
Objective:
To meet customer requirements and achieve regional business plan and sales targets.
2. Business Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive area mapping to identify prospects across SCV fuel lines and focus applications
- Identify new entrants in transportation and related business segments
- Conduct value proposition discussions highlighting product advantages
Objective:
To achieve regional targets for new customer acquisition and expand market penetration.
3. Customer Engagement & Process Adherence
Customer Engagement:
- Understand customer pulse and evolving needs
- Quarterly mapping of key customers
- Conduct joint meetings with aftermarket/service teams to resolve issues
- Coordinate for site improvements with customer stakeholders
- Participate in tendering processes
- Ensure diligent follow-ups and MOM closures
Process Adherence:
- Understand regional reporting requirements
- Submit reports, presentations, demos, live trial results, and customer feedback within timelines
Objective:
- Improve customer satisfaction and ensure faster issue resolution
- Maintain uniform customer experience
- Increase repeat sales through strong engagement
4. SCV Introduction & Market Ramp-Up
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive understanding of regional TIV and market potential
- Maintain strong network with financiers, manufacturers, and influencers
- Recommend customer-centric solutions aligned with business focus
- Conduct pricing analysis and negotiate for better realization
- Execute phase-wise and fuel-wise SCV launch strategy

- Maintain targeted market share
- Achieve desired price realization
- Meet overall business plan targets
