Regional Sales Manager

Are you ready to drive transformation and make a difference At Dormer Pramet, we are looking for a motivated The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and developing strategic sales plans within their assigned South region in India. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the industrial tools market.

Job Purpose & Characteristics

This role integrates both operational and strategic responsibilities tailored to drive sales performance in the South region of India. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the growth and success of the regional sales portfolio by collaborating closely with key stakeholders. Your contribution will be essential in supporting the overall business objectives, sales targets, and go-to-market strategy for Dormer Pramet. You will actively assist in the execution of regional sales initiatives, share insights and ideas to strengthen the sales strategy, and align efforts with broader organizational goals to maximize market impact and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and expand market share for Dormer Parmet.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure individual and team success.
  • Identify and cultivate strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners within the region.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and inform product development.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Manage regional sales budgets and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Dormer Parmet , representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage customer satisfaction, addressing concerns and ensuring timely resolution

Candidate Profile Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field,
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably within the industrial tools, manufacturing, or engineering sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian industrial market, including distribution channels and customer segments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans and manage a diverse sales team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Fluency in English and relevant regional languages is highly preferred.
