Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Regional Sales Manager EBO (Mumbai)

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Zonal Head

Role Objective

The Assistant Regional Sales Manager EBO (Mumbai) will have end-to-end ownership of BIBA Exclusive Brand Outlets across the Mumbai region. The role is responsible for driving topline growth, profitability, operational excellence, and people capability across all EBOs in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Performance

  • Own and achieve regional sales, growth, and profitability targets for Mumbai EBOs.
  • Drive like-to-like growth, seasonal performance, and store ramp-ups.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics and initiate corrective actions.
  • Improve sell-through, inventory turns, and stock productivity across stores.

EBO Operations & Execution

  • Manage all Exclusive Brand Outlets in Mumbai, ensuring SOP adherence.
  • Ensure strong execution of VM guidelines, pricing discipline, promotions, and markdowns.
  • Drive superior customer experience and service standards across stores.
  • Coordinate with retail operations, planning, supply chain, VM, and marketing teams for smooth execution.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead and develop Cluster Managers, Store Managers, and frontline teams.
  • Set KPIs, conduct regular business reviews, and drive performance improvement plans.
  • Build strong talent pipeline, ensure engagement, and control attrition.
  • Create a performance-driven, ownership-led culture.

Market Expansion & Network Growth

  • Identify opportunities for new EBO openings, relocations, and closures in Mumbai.
  • Support feasibility studies, business cases, and store launch execution.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with landlords and mall management.

Governance & Cost Control

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, audits, and statutory requirements.
  • Control regional expenses and improve store-level profitability.
  • Ensure smooth execution of new launches, EOSS, and marketing campaigns.

  • EBO sales achievement & LFL growth
  • Store profitability
  • Inventory turns & sell-through
  • VM & audit compliance
  • Team productivity & attrition

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 812 years of retail sales experience with strong EBO exposure.
  • Minimum 34 years managing multi-store / regional EBO operations.
  • Experience in fashion / apparel / lifestyle retail, preferably women's ethnic wear.
  • Prior responsibility for a metro market like Mumbai is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of EBO economics and retail KPIs
  • Excellent people leadership and execution capability
  • High ownership mindset with hands-on operational approach
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred
