Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic: The strategic purpose of the Regional Sales Manager position in Ahmedabad is to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, cultivate customer relationships, develop leadership capabilities, foster strategic alignment, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement within the sales function, ultimately contributing to the organization's long-term success and sustainability.
  • Financial The primary purpose of the Regional Sales Manager for our paints business is to drive sales growth, expand market share, and enhance customer satisfaction within the designated area or region.
  • Operational:

1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and objectives.

2. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers to ensure high performance and productivity levels.

3. Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.

4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive activities.

5. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

6. Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities.

7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the regional sales budget effectively to optimize resources and achieve desired outcomes.

8. Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates on sales activities, performance, and forecasts for management review.

9. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

10. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
