Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager Specialty Fats will be responsible for leading and managing the sales strategy for specialty fats in the Central region. This role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with key accounts, driving revenue growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the regional sales targets for specialty fats products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales executives, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and contract finalizations with potential clients.
  • Ensure timely reporting of sales metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of specialty fats products and their applications.
  • Work closely with the supply chain and production teams to manage product availability and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the brand and expand market presence.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 10 years in the specialty fats or food ingredients industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
