Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales and business development activities for Pedia and General products across Karnataka
- Achieve annual budgets, sales targets, and high productivity parameters including PCPM
- Plan and execute successful new product launches and ensure effective market penetration
- Recruit, retain, train, and develop the sales team including ABMs and MRs
- Drive team performance through regular reviews, coaching, and field visits
- Ensure effective scientific and medical promotion of general products in the assigned territory
- Implement company sales and marketing strategies effectively across the region
- Appoint, manage, and strengthen stockists and distributor networks to improve market coverage
- Maintain strong administrative and managerial control over the field force
- Monitor performance metrics and support team members in achieving individual and regional targets
Required Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Science or Pharmacy
- 12 to 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 to 3 years as a Regional Sales Manager
- Proven experience covering the entire Karnataka region, based at Bangalore
- Strong experience in managing ABMs and MRs in the Pedia and General segment
- Sound knowledge of scientific and medical promotions and new product launches
- Strong people management, leadership, and team development skills
- Experience in appointing and managing stockists and distributors
- Good administrative and field force management capabilities
