Regional Sales Lead Mumbai

Role Summary
Own regional revenue and distribution for Jyoti Home Appliances. You'll build and scale a high-performing dealerdistributor network, lead a team of field executives, expand into new markets, and ensure flawless in-store brand execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, appoint, and onboard distributors; negotiate terms, targets, and credit norms.
- Drive primary sales, inventory turns, fill rates, and timely claim settlement.
- Onboard new distributors basis regional demand.
- Prospect and onboard new dealers in priority areas.
- Build dealer relationships; drive range selling, planograms, and share of shelf.
- Execute trade schemes, loyalty programs, and sell-out interventions with clear ROI.
- Lead and coach Sales Executives: beat planning, productivity (calls/day), funnel hygiene, and territory expansion.
- Set weekly/monthly targets; conduct market work-withs, reviews, and skill training.
- Market Expansion & Consolidation
- Expand newer areas/markets using town-class mapping, whitespace analysis, and outlet universe building.
- Consolidate existing markets by improving numeric & weighted distribution, channel mix, and repeat purchase rates.
- Oversee and direct installation of in-store brand collaterals (POSM, fixtures, demo units, display bays).
- Audit execution quality, planogram compliance, and uptime; resolve installation/vendor issues.
- Build monthly/quarterly plans, demand forecasts, and beat/route coverage.
- Track primary vs. secondary sales, promo effectiveness, pricing hygiene, and competitive activity.
- Maintain CRM/ERP discipline; publish dashboards and action plans.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Liaise with Marketing (BTL/activations), Supply Chain (stocking, dispatch), Service (installation/after-sales), and Finance (claims/credit).
Qualifications
Graduate preferred; proven channel sales experience in home appliances.
Strong distributor & dealer onboarding track record.
People leadership: hiring, coaching, performance management for field teams.
Data-driven: Excel/Google Sheets, CRM usage, territory planning & forecasting.
Excellent negotiation, relationship building, and problem-solving.
Fluency in English, Hindi, Marathi; willingness to travel.
