Role Overview

The Regional Sales Head Holidays & Channel Sales will be responsible for regional P&L ownership, revenue growth, market expansion, and sales strategy execution across Pune and Mumbai. This role requires strong expertise in B2B sales, B2C sales, channel partner management, travel agent network development, OTA sales, and high-ticket holiday product selling.

Mandatory destination expertise:Japan, Kenya, Northern Lights, Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute regional sales strategy, revenue planning, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and target achievement.
  • Drive sales across international group tours, customized holidays, luxury travel, honeymoon packages, destination weddings, and experiential tourism products.
  • Build, manage, and scale channel sales networks including travel agents, tour operators, corporate partners, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
  • Design and implement channel sales programs, incentive structures, trade promotions, partner engagement initiatives, and distribution strategies.
  • Own destination-based consultative selling for Japan tours, Kenya safaris, Northern Lights tours, and Southeast Asia holiday packages.
  • Collaborate with product teams on itinerary planning, pricing strategy, destination mapping, and market-driven product development.
  • Lead team hiring, sales team management, performance tracking, coaching, and sales capability building.
  • Set and monitor KPIs, KRAs, conversion ratios, average booking value, lead management metrics, and CRM compliance.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor benchmarking, pricing intelligence, customer behavior, and emerging travel destinations.
  • Represent the organization at travel trade fairs, B2B networking events, partner meets, roadshows, and travel exhibitions.
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, CRM, finance, and product teams to ensure seamless sales execution and customer experience.
  • Ensure data-driven reporting, MIS dashboards, revenue analytics, and partner performance reviews.
  • Willingness for extensive regional travel and field engagement.
Candidate Profile
  • 510+ years of experience in travel and tourism sales, holiday planning, international travel sales, or luxury travel sales.
  • Minimum 35 years in a regional sales head, sales manager, or senior sales leadership role.
  • Proven exposure to B2B sales, B2C sales, channel sales, corporate sales, and partner management.
  • Strong destination knowledge, consultative selling skills, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, lead funnels, sales forecasting tools, and performance dashboards.
  • Graduate degree required; MBA in Sales / Marketing preferred.
