Responsibilities:
- Sales and promotion of world-class American automation products designed for India.
- Conduct technical presentations to customers, perform technical and business needs analysis, and recommend appropriate products.
- Follow up on sales leads and generate new leads through telephone and email solicitation.
- Make direct sales to customers and provide support to local distributors in the assigned area.
- Train distributor sales engineers on the company's products.
- Reside in the assigned marketing area; the company has identified 75 marketing areas across India.
- Travel to customer accounts within the assigned marketing area.
- Attend local trade shows, exhibitions, technical forums, and conferences.
- Receive training in strategic selling skills, technical knowledge of the product line, and periodic travel to the US for further training.
Prerequisites / Requirements:
- Proven track record of significant sales of technical products in any industry.
- Good aptitude for computers and mechatronics concepts.
- Aggressive, dynamic, and confident with strong communication skills in English and local languages.
- Effective presentation skills for small and large groups.
- Understanding of basic sales processes with a strong desire to learn strategic selling skills from global authorities.
- Leadership skills and the ability to guide distributor teams.
