Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales and promotion of world-class American automation products designed for the Indian market.
  • Conduct technical presentations for customers, analyze their technical and business requirements, and recommend suitable automation solutions.
  • Follow up on sales leads and generate new business opportunities through telephone, email, and direct solicitation.
  • Execute direct sales to customers while providing strong support to local distributors in the assigned region.
  • Train distributor sales engineers on company products, applications, and effective selling techniques.
  • Reside within the assigned marketing area; the company has identified 75 marketing areas across India.
  • Manage and guide the sales engineers operating within the designated region and ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Travel extensively across the assigned marketing area to visit customer accounts and distributor locations.
  • Represent the company at local trade shows, exhibitions, technical forums, and conferences to promote products and network with potential clients.
  • Participate in advanced training programs on strategic selling skills and technical product knowledge, including periodic training in the United States.

Prerequisites / Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful sales performance in technical or industrial products.
  • Strong aptitude for computers and mechatronics concepts.
  • Aggressive, dynamic, and confident with excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Skilled in making technical presentations to both small and large groups.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process with enthusiasm to learn and apply strategic selling methods from global experts.
  • Strong leadership abilities to manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales engineers and distributor representatives.
