Role Overview
The Regional Retail Trainer is responsible for implementing and driving the retail training strategy. This role focuses on enhancing the capabilities of retail staff, promoting brand standards, ensuring consistency in product knowledge, and improving sales performance. The trainer will work closely with store managers, staff, and leadership teams to elevate the overall customer experience and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Training Development & Delivery
- Conduct onsite and virtual training sessions for retail teams, focusing on product knowledge, customer service, sales techniques, and brand values
- Develop and customize training content aligned with regional needs and store dynamics
- Organize and lead training workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions
Retail Performance Support
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness through feedback, quizzes, and performance metrics
- Identify knowledge gaps and improvement areas in collaboration with regional leadership
- Provide ongoing support to ensure continuous learning and consistent application
Coaching & Mentoring
- Coach store managers and key staff to improve skills and sales performance
- Support onboarding and mentor new employees to align with company culture and expectations
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with the National Training Manager and HR/Training teams to align with company goals
- Share regular updates on training progress, challenges, and outcomes
- Drive best practice sharing across teams
Product Knowledge & Brand Advocacy
- Ensure strong product understanding across retail teams
- Enable teams to effectively communicate features, benefits, and USPs to customers
- Champion brand values and customer service excellence
Event & Retail Support
- Support regional sales events, product launches, and promotions
- Visit retail stores for performance observation and refresher training
