Regional Operations Manager

Key Responsible Areas:

• To accomplish the Regional operational activity for Sea Logistics for the west region, comprising BOM/AMD/PNQ branches.
• To manage operations team performance by setting clear SOPs for all operations-related activities and monitoring the performance.
• To hire adequate resources to meet optimum productivity targets and business retention for the West Region.
• To enhance the customer experience through efficient service delivery and a feedback mechanism.
• To form a clear strategy for customer retention for the network and sales business through regular engagements and customer service performance.
• Inclination for the growth and performance of the team through training and development programs.
• To optimise systems usage for costing, rolling forecast, accruals/ provisions as per operations guidelines.
• Optimize and implement operational standards & guidelines and drive continuous improvement of the operations Team.
• Evaluate and monitor operational risks, ensure contingency planning, and implement corrective actions.
• To ensure all operational activities are performed within the ambit of company guidelines.
• Manage and monitor productivity KPIs against budget, initiate corrective actions.

Competence Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of team leadership experience with a team size of 15 -20 FTEs.
• Proven track record of managing daily operations activities for the West Region with quick decision-making ability.
• Ability to establish a successful long-term business partnership with internal and external customers.
• Ready to take personal accountability for achieving individual and shared goals.
• Adept at understanding financial data/ P & L / Productivity/ Vol/ GP, Statistics to draw references and conclusions.
• Capable of working under pressure and dealing with tight deadlines.
• Comfortable with prioritizing tasks, planning, and control.
• Systems Savvy and competent to handle different operating tools to extract performance reports.

Eligibility:

• Graduates and above MBA in logistics is preferred.
• Candidates above the Sr. Manager role with required experience.
