Job Scope:

The role is responsible for overseeing transport security and site security operations across the North Region. This includes ensuring compliance with DHL's global security standards, regulatory requirements, and implementing robust security processes to safeguard people, assets, and operations.

Job Title: Regional Manager Security - North

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport Security Oversight:
  • Conduct and manage transport security audits and route risk assessments.
  • Perform vehicle and driver compliance audits to ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Lead investigations related to transport security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Site Security Management:
  • Ensure security measures are in place at all sites within the region.
  • Monitor contracted security personnel for compliance with case management and regulatory standards.
• Compliance & Standards:
  • Implement DHL's 6-Step Security Process across all operations.
  • Ensure adherence to Minimum Global Security Standards and transport security requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulatory and legal security requirements.
• Incident Management:
  • Oversee case management for security incidents and ensure timely reporting and resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and law enforcement agencies when required.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify security risks and recommend preventive measures.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions for drivers and staff on security protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transport/site security operations.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and security standards.
• Excellent investigative and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead audits and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and security management systems.
