Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities & Strategic Focus
Brand Nomination:Acts as a primary contact for brands through nomination to use to JST Yarn. Secure spec-in status with International buying offices so they nominate our yarns to their factory bases.
Lead Generation: Target high-end knitwear brands (B2B) and large-scale craft distributors (B2C suppliers) who are producing Wool knit garment/Accessories.
Value Proposition: Sell the Performance Natural story. Emphasize that your yarn offers the breathability of wool with the durability of a treated fiber.
Market Mapping: Identify high-capacity sweater and jersey manufacturers in Bangladesh, Vietnam, and India (Ludhiana/Tiruppur).
Technical Liaison: Work with production teams to ensure the technical parameters meet the specific needs of circular & flat-bed knitting machines.
Product Development:Collaborate with R&D to introduce various wool blends that cater to the specific climate and cost requirements of the Indian domestic market and International markets.
Contract Negotiation: Manage complex regional pricing, logistics (CIF/FOB), and LC (Letter of Credit) terms specific to the banking regulations of International Markets.
CONTEXT AND MAJOR CHALLENGES
The strategic Business model adopted is optimizing products and service level by leveraging the strength and capacity of JST to offer worsted spun yarns of International standards through seamless working, improve profitability through sale of customised yarn and increase the shares of value-added yarns in the product mix. The key focus is on constant and persistent exploration of both domestic and overseas market and enrich product-mix through new products for expanding the customer base and achieve profitable growth
