Job Summary
As a Reference Data Specialist IV within the Party Reference Data Operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining internal & External client reference data. Your role will involve liaising business partners, conduct data analysis, and maintain MIS reports. This position values strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Job Responsibilities
The Reference Data Specialist IV role is responsible for:
- Manage daily production processes and coordinate a portfolio of projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reference data services
- Measure and analyze process performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and data quality
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on data requirements and remediation efforts
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Party Reference Data and data quality management to maintain high business standards
- Manage and maintain client or reference data within a large organization
- Interpret complex data sets, identify actionable insights, and recognize fact patterns, root causes, and key drivers
- Prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining client or reference data within a large organization
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools for reporting and data validation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Graduate with 3+ years of experience in financial services or related industries
- Capable of explaining complex concepts in simple terms and preparing concise executive summaries for stakeholders and leadership
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Capable of building reusable data/process automations and designing interactive dashboards that deliver advanced analytics and actionable reporting for better decisions
- Demonstrated effectiveness working in a matrix environment and partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
- Skilled at analyzing existing processes and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and drive operational excellence
- Experience performing Maker/checker functions on party data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards
- Proficient in maintaining MIS reports and leveraging data to support business decisions
