Job Description

Convert complex derivatives documentation into accurate, system-ready parameters that enable controlled Markets Trading operations. Support regulatory initiatives like Pushout while delivering high productivity, quality, and stakeholder partnership.


As a Reference Data Specialist within Documentation Management (Document Management Operations †Markets Trading Group), you review legal agreements and extract legal and financial parameters for accurate indexing in JPMorgan Chase systems. You identify documentation issues and coordinate with internal partners such as Credit and Legal to resolve disputed points within defined timelines, while supporting regulatory projects such as Pushout. You contribute to an efficient operating framework by partnering with Legal Operations, Business, Operations, and Technology, with productivity and quality as core performance measures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review legal agreements including ISDA, CSA, Financing, F&O, OTC, and Prime Brokerage documentation.
  • Extract key legal and financial parameters from agreements and prepare them for structured capture.
  • Index extracted parameters in JPMorganChase systems with strong accuracy, completeness, and quality discipline.
  • Support Markets regulatory projects such as Pushout involving transfer of clients between legal entities.
  • Identify disputed points and documentation issues and coordinate resolution with relevant internal functions (e.g., Credit, Legal) within set timelines.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Business, Operations, and Technology partners to support and enhance an efficient operating framework.
  • Deliver work to deadlines by prioritizing tasks, multitasking effectively, and maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Minimum 3 years experience in derivatives master agreements and trade-related documentation within an investment bank or law firm
  • Strong understanding of derivative legal documents including ISDA and CSA
  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multitask, execute independently and as part of a team, and work to deadlines

5. Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Graduation in Law or Commerce
  • Postgraduate qualification such as MBA or LLB
  • Experience partnering with regional Legal Operations teams and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve documentation breaks
  • Flexibility to work shifts and support time-sensitive deliverables
