Job Description

J.P. Morgan Commercial Investment Bank is a global leader in investment and wealth management, serving institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and retail investors worldwide.

As a Reference Data Analyst within Party Reference Data, you serve as the primary user contact and ensure highquality party data and platform stability. You partner across technology and operations to resolve issues and execute structured testing for releases. You streamline processes with metrics and automation to improve client experience and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily production issue calls with Reference Data Technology and deliver timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Party Reference Data Operations, Product Owners, Change Management, and to triage, rootcause, resolve, and appropriately escalate highrisk defects to protect release timelines.
  • Define test objectives per user story configure test plans and steps in the test management tool execute positive, negative, and regression testing across environments for product enhancements, production fixes, operational releases, data integrity, platform conversions, and regulatory reporting.
  • Capture execution evidence, raise and track defects through closure, and publish daily endofday status and KPI trend reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct demos/showcases and triage meetings coach end users on test requirements secure timely UAT signoffs and prevent outofscope defects.
  • Support Agile ceremonies, implementation planning per release, and production checkout maintain and update knowledge bases, FAQs, and selfservice resources.
  • Identify process automation opportunities and test AI/ML features for data quality, anomaly detection, and workflow efficiency deliver monthly knowledgesharing on changes impacting the operating model.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience in a financial services organization strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in fastpaced, deadlinedriven environments.
  • Manual functional testing expertise spanning endtoend planning, execution, evidence capture, and defect lifecycle management across multiple environments and releases.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, MS Excel, and MS SharePoint strong communication and presentation skills relationship building, decisionmaking, and problemsolving.
  • Understanding of Agile frameworks and project lifecycle standards teamoriented and adaptable with a commitment to highquality outcomes.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Experience with Business Objects and SQL for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience automating tests using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Knowledge of reference data and the party data lifecycle across contracts, accounts, and transactions.
  • Experience supporting demos/showcases, UAT signoffs, and release/production checkout across complex platforms.
