Job Description

Join our Corporate & Investment Bank's Wholesale Payments Operations to deliver timely, accurate transaction processing and exceptional client service across a dynamic, regulated environment. Drive operational excellence by resolving exceptions, supporting client inquiries, and advancing process improvements and automation for scalable, highquality outcomes.

As a Transaction Processing Specialist within Wholesale Payments Operations in our Corporate & Investment Bank, you will ensure endtoend transaction management is executed on time, resolve exceptions and client inquiries, and provide subject matter expertise to clients. You will independently manage daily operational tasks, support regulatory reporting and remediation activities, and consistently apply a strong control mindset. You will also contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and client experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned operational tasks on time, ensuring complete, accurate transaction processing.
  • Manage exceptions, resolve client inquiries, and provide subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Operate with a strong control mindset proactively identify issues and risks with impact to process and the organization, and drive timely remediation.
  • Manage assigned work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining high productivity standards.
  • Support daily regulatory reporting tasks and remediation activities, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate across teams in Wholesale Payments Operations to uphold service quality and a consistent client experience

    Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Understanding of legal language to interpret client and transaction documents and assess impacts to the firm.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the ability to manage tasks independently with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work during US hours, with a control mindset focused on risk identification and mitigation.

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Experience in middle- or back-office operations within financial services.
  • Familiarity with financial services products, processes, and operational workflows in Wholesale Payments.
  • Excellent client focus and customer care practices, with proven ability to resolve issues and inquiries effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree and demonstrated collaboration across operations teams to improve processes and automation.
