Introduction

At IBM Infrastructure & Technology, we design and operate the systems that keep the world running. From high-resiliency mainframes and hybrid cloud platforms to networking, automation, and site reliability. Our teams ensure the performance, security, and scalability that clients and industries depend on every day. Working in Infrastructure & Technology means tackling complex challenges with curiosity and collaboration. You'll work with diverse technologies and colleagues worldwide to deliver resilient, future-ready solutions that power innovation. Automation & CI/CD: Automate routine tasks and application deployment using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Tekton, and Ansible.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor cluster performance and health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack, proactively identifying and resolving complex issues.

Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and ensure compliance with internal and external standards for containerized workloads.

Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to containerize applications, onboard new services, and provide technical support and guidance on best practices.

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation (SOPs, architecture diagrams, runbooks) for OpenShift environments and processes to ensure continuity and compliance.
