Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, highly motivated, and Reddit-savvy intern to join our team. The Reddit Marketing Intern will be responsible for creating content and managing multiple Reddit profiles to build organic presence, engagement, and karma points. The role will involve a mix of content creation, profile management, and strategic engagement to increase WizCommerce's visibility in both relevant and non-relevant subreddits.

This is a rigorous role that requires a deep understanding of Reddit's community norms, subculture, and algorithms. The intern will help build a long-term strategy to establish a strong presence on Reddit, contributing to SEO & GEO efforts and improving brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Create and Manage Multiple Reddit Accounts: Build and maintain several Reddit profiles to increase karma points and visibility.

• Content Creation: Develop engaging, relevant, and shareable content (text posts, comments, discussions) across diverse subreddits to build trust and credibility within communities.

• Engage Strategically: Participate in both unrelated-to-WizCommerce and WizCommerce-related subreddits, adding value through comments, discussions, and relevant information that aligns with our marketing strategy.

• Build Karma Points: Execute a strategy to gradually build karma points through meaningful contributions.

• Brand Awareness: Post content and comments related to WizCommerce, strategically placing them in relevant subreddits to raise awareness of our AI-powered B2B SaaS platform.

• Research and Analyze Reddit Trends: Keep up to date with trending topics, conversations, and shifts in Reddit's user behavior to identify new opportunities for engagement.

• Collaboration with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to align Reddit strategies with overall goals and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven Reddit Expertise: Strong experience on Reddit, with an active presence and a successful track record of generating karma points.

• Familiarity with Reddit Communities: Deep understanding of Reddit's subculture, etiquette, and community guidelines. Ability to navigate and contribute to diverse subreddits effectively.

• Content Creation Skills: Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling, engaging, and shareable content tailored for Reddit's unique style.

• SEO, GEO and Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with SEO and GEO best practices and how Reddit can contribute to broader digital marketing strategies.

• Self-Motivated & Independent: Ability to work independently, manage multiple profiles, and develop content ideas without constant supervision.

• Creative and Analytical: Ability to think creatively while also analyzing and optimizing strategies based on metrics like karma points, engagement rates, and content performance.

Preferred

• Previous internship or experience in digital marketing or social media.

• Familiarity with using Reddit for business or brand-building purposes.

• Understanding of how Reddit's algorithm works and how to optimize posts for maximum exposure.
