About the Role
This role is primarily focused on talent acquisition. You'll support IndieFolio's growth by owning hiring execution across teams, ensuring we attract, assess, and close the right talent efficiently.
While you'll collaborate on onboarding and people initiatives, your core responsibility will be recruitmentbuilding pipelines, managing candidates, and partnering closely with hiring managers to meet business needs.
This role is ideal for someone early in their HR/Talent career who wants to go deep into hiring and build strong fundamentals in recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Hiring Execution
- Own end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles (full-time and contract).
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, expectations, and timelines.
- Draft and refine job descriptions aligned with role needs and company values.
- Source candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, communities, and direct outreach.
- Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews across stages.
- Ensure a smooth, professional, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Track hiring progress and closures against timelines.
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates during the recruitment process.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates at every stage.
- Support employer branding efforts by representing IndieFolio authentically in all candidate interactions.
Onboarding Support (Secondary)
- Coordinate hiring handovers and support a smooth onboarding transition.
- Ensure documentation, access, and joining workflows are completed on time.
- Gather feedback from new hires to improve the hiring-to-onboarding experience.
Data, Tools & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records in the ATS and hiring trackers.
- Track key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate feedback.
- Share insights with the HR lead to improve hiring processes and sourcing strategies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment-focused HR roles.
- Strong interest in hiring, sourcing, and candidate engagement.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms, job boards, LinkedIn sourcing, and recruitment tools.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working with data.

- Independently manage recruitment for assigned roles.
