About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven and technically strong Recruitment Manager to lead our UK & EU IT staffing team from our Bangalore office. The ideal candidate should come with deep experience in technology recruitment for the UK/EU market, strong exposure to team leadership and mentorship, and the ability to drive closures for niche and complex technical roles.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can guide recruiters on technical screening, JD understanding, sourcing strategy, stakeholder communication, and closure management, while ensuring team productivity, quality, and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of IT recruiters focused on UK & EU technology hiring.
- Mentor and coach recruiters on technical screening, market mapping, sourcing strategy, and candidate engagement.
- Translate complex client job descriptions into clear hiring strategies and explain role expectations to the team.
- Support the team in understanding technical skills, domain fit, and candidate suitability.
- Review, screen, and validate profiles before client submission to ensure high-quality shortlists.
- Drive the team to achieve submission, interview, offer, and closure targets.
- Push recruiters on daily delivery metrics, pipeline health, and turnaround time.
- Track team performance through KPIs such as CV submissions, interviews, offers, joins, and conversion ratios.
- Build strong sourcing channels for niche and hard-to-find technical skill sets.
- Partner with sales/account managers to understand client requirements and hiring priorities.
- Ensure recruiters follow best practices in candidate management, rate negotiation, and closure management.
- Take ownership of escalations, aging requirements, and difficult closures.
- Conduct regular team reviews, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
- Drive team motivation, accountability, and performance culture.
Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of experience in IT staffing, with at least 3+ years in team leadership / recruitment management
- Proven success in UK & EU market hiring
- Strong knowledge of technology roles and technical screening frameworks
- Excellent experience in team mentorship and performance management
- Strong exposure to client-facing recruitment delivery models
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in fast-paced staffing or consulting environments
