GalaxEye is an innovative space tech startup headquartered in India, recognized as the country's first to prepare for launching an indigenously built multi-sensor imaging satellite. The Drishti Mission, GalaxEye's flagship project, is designed to provide cutting-edge geospatial analytics with all-weather, all-time imagery even during nighttime and cloudy conditions. As an IIT Madras-incubated startup, GalaxEye was founded by a team of alumni who also earned recognition as the only Asian finalist at the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition 2019. The technologies developed by GalaxEye aim to empower governments, defense, and industries with reliable data, unlocking transformative opportunities for various sectors.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Recruitment Intern at GalaxEye. The Recruitment Intern will assist in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, which includes sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates. Duties also include coordinating and executing hiring plans, improving recruitment processes, and supporting onboarding and training initiatives. Collaboration with the talent acquisition team to identify suitable talent for various roles will be a key part of the daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Recruiting, Hiring, and Interviewing
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of Training and onboarding processes
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage time efficiently
• A keen interest in HR practices within the tech and space industries
• Prior experience or internship in recruitment or human resources is a plus
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
