About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Intern role at Hireginie offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about building a career in recruitment. As part of our Hireginie Accelerate Programme, you will undergo a comprehensive 6-month internship designed to develop your skills in sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates across various roles, including tech, product, and non-tech positions. This remote internship combines virtual classroom training with hands-on on-the-job experience, preparing you for a potential full-time career as a Talent Acquisition Manager within our organization.
Qualifications
We welcome candidates from diverse educational backgrounds, with a preference for students pursuing an MBA or related fields. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and an enthusiasm for recruitment. Candidates must have access to a laptop or PC and be proficient in English at a professional level. While familiarity with recruitment tools is advantageous, it is not mandatory for application. This role is suitable for individuals eager to learn and grow within a dynamic, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the entire recruitment cycle for various roles, including sourcing, screening, and conducting initial interviews.
- Collaborate with senior recruiters to understand specific role requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Utilize multiple channels such as job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks to identify and engage potential candidates.
- Conduct outreach to prospective candidates, schedule interviews, and maintain communication throughout the hiring process.
- Support the maintenance and updating of recruitment databases, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Participate actively in weekly training sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing recruitment skills and industry knowledge.
