About the role: .
Recovery Analyst role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the FIS comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and drive continuous improvement in business continuity practices.
What you will be doing:
They conduct BIAs to identify critical functions and prioritize recovery efforts
Analysts collaborate with his Business Units to create and maintain business continuity plans
They test and evaluate existing continuity plans to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement
Analysts provide training and support to concerned stakeholders as needed by our policies and standards.
They keep abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
Effectively communicates with all levels of stakeholders
Prioritizing tasks, planning activities, and ensuring timelines are met as per agreed SLAs
Adherence to policies, standards and guidelines set forth by executive management.
What you bring:
3-6 Years of Relevant Experience .
Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Disaster Recovery Planner certification desirable.
Develops and implements templates and tools to facilitate recovery planning and exercises.
Guides employees to use tools and templates in designing plan development and recovery testing.
Assesses planning materials to verify compliance with governance.
Reviews recovery plans to assess compliance with governance.
Coordinates and monitors disaster recovery testing exercise events to ensure activities progress according to event plans, issues are logged and status reporting is provided to stakeholders.
Maintains test schedule.
Responds at time of disaster.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
