We are seeking a Reconciliation Assistant to join our finance and operations team at our Sivakasi office. This is a work-from-office position where the successful candidate will work as part of a team handling financial data, transaction records, and daily reconciliations within financial and payment operations.
The role requires a very good financial background, excellent Excel skills, and high attention to detail. This is an execution-focused position suited to someone comfortable working with numbers, statements, and structured reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of transaction data, settlements, and balances
- Reconcile data between internal systems, bank statements, PSP reports, and third-party providers
- Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies, mismatches, or missing transactions
- Maintain accurate reconciliation files and supporting documentation
- Prepare reconciliation reports and summaries for internal teams
- Support the finance and operations team with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis
- Ensure reconciliation processes are completed accurately and within defined timelines
- Coordinate with team members to resolve reconciliation issues efficiently
Required Skills & Experience
- Good understanding of financial data, reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Very good Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, handling large datasets)
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical confidence
- Ability to work with structured data and follow reconciliation procedures
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a team-based, office environment
- Clear and professional communication skills for internal coordination
