Job Description

Job Title: Receptionist (Full-Time)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Department: Administration

Reporting To: Admin Manager

Description

We are seeking a well-presented, responsible, and proactive Receptionist to manage our front desk operations. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensure smooth daily office functioning, and support basic administrative, sales coordination, and communication tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Visitor Management

Greet visitors, clients, and vendors with a warm and professional approach.

Maintain visitor logs, issue passes, and coordinate with concerned departments.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries; route them to the appropriate team members.

Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean and well-organized.

Administrative Support

Handle daily mail, couriers, and document receipt/dispatch.

Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate purchase requirements.

Assist the Admin team with basic documentation and filing work.

Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference room usage.

Support management in day-to-day office tasks.

Sales & Purchase Coordination

Assist sales team with basic follow-ups and call handling (if required).

Coordinate with purchase department for vendor communication and documentation.

Maintain basic data in Excel sheets such as visitor logs, inquiry sheets, and appointment schedules.

Communication & Customer Service

Provide accurate information to customers and visitors.

Handle complaints or requests and escalate to the relevant department.

Maintain professional behavior and ensure company representation is always positive.

Skills & Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum HSC / Graduate in any stream.

Experience

  • 02 years of experience in front desk/reception/admin roles.
  • Experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment will be an advantage.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Presentable, polite, and customer-focused behavior.
  • Basic computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Work Timings

  • Full-Time: [10.00 AM to 7.00 PM]
