Description
We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, greeting visitors and providing them with a positive first impression.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Basic knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and fax machines
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor
- Customer service orientation and a friendly, approachable personality
