We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Receptionist to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation at the front desk.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and organized at all times.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for doctors and medical staff.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist patients with inquiries and provide information regarding hospital services.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate patient flow and service delivery.
  • Handle billing inquiries and process payments where applicable.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and medical software for scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer service orientation with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures is a plus.
