Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and organized at all times.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for doctors and medical staff.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Assist patients with inquiries and provide information regarding hospital services.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate patient flow and service delivery.
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments where applicable.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in using computer systems and medical software for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer service orientation with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures is a plus.
